The Food & Agriculture Organization forecasted that by 2050 the demand for food will increase by 60% to feed a population of 9.3Billion people (un.org, 2012).

Organic produce has the capacity to deliver competitive yields in good weather and outperforms conventional produce in times of drought and floods, consuming less energy and fewer emissions whilst revitalizing soil and removing carbon (rodaleinstitute.org,2019).

With quarter of food production wasted all along the food supply chain (wri.org,2018), reducing food wastage to serve the demand will be imperative.
